Current Opportunities

Open positions in the laboratory: 

Graduate students: I am not currently recruiting graduate students. Potential doctoral students should apply to PIBS.

Rotation projects for PIBS students will be available next year. Contact Dr. O'Meara to discuss potential projects. We anticipate having room for one student to join the lab next year (2025-2026 academic year).

Postdoctoral Positions: I am not currently recruiting for a postdoctoral scholar. 

If you will complete your Ph.D. in genetics, microbiology, immunology, or a related field (or are interested in making the transition to these fields), have a strong record of research accomplishments, and are interested in the research in our lab, please apply for a postdoctoral position with us for a late 2025 start date.
